New Season, New Upgrades

During the winter break a few upgrades and improvements have been planned for the Fiesta. The main improvement being an updated clutch and an upgrade to a new engine management system.

A new clutch from CG Motorsport was sourced in the form of a 4 paddle cerametalic friction plate with high pressure clutch cover plate and new release bearing.

The items are well packaged and look well made.
The removal of the old clutch shows little sign of wear but does have signs of large heat build up demonstrated by the blue colour on the plate, this is the cause of the clutch slip during gear shifts when racing.

So thats the new clutch installed, only testing will tell how well it performs but if it performs as good as it looks then it should be a good improvement over the old setup.
