Here at Gradient Engineering Ltd, we specialise in the Design and Engineering of Automotive Inlet Systems. Including Direct to Head Individual Throttle bodies and Fuel-Injected inlet manifolds and plenum chambers. We also design Engine Components for Motorsport and high-performance vehicles.

Established by a group of passionate motorsport enthusiasts Gradient Engineering’s primary goal is to deliver high quality, high performing products at competitive prices. Our current product range includes individual throttle body kits that mount directly to the head making them tailored to that specific engine as well as being simple to install.

Gradient Engineering’s throttle bodies can also be tailored to fit virtually any engine and customer requirements. They are a no-compromise design that ensures that whatever engine they are fitted to they provide optimum airflow to maximize engine performance.

Direct to head individual throttle body arrangements have some distinct advantages over the more traditional DCOE replacement type throttle bodies. The main advantages are that they provide the most direct path for the air to travel with no direction changes needed within the flow path. The inlet length can be reduced for installations. The noticeable benefits are that they produce more power and have a quicker throttle response.

Gradient Engineering’s bodies are made from Billet Aluminium, CNC machined for precision and flexibility in allowing them to be customised to suit individual requirements, therefore we can offer custom inlet systems utilising our modular bodies for cost-effective custom intakes for many different engines.

We use the latest in CAD simulation to design our inlet systems to ensure they will perform as required and by utilising modern advanced manufacturing techniques we are able to respond to customer requests for new inlet designs and to accommodate new engines into our range quickly and accurately to produce cost-effective, high performing inlet systems that work.
